Ryu has been released! smashbattlecon.proboards.com/thread/39/ryuPretty quick work, but hopefully he's balanced. But I recommend it because the art is cool! Duck Hunt, Inkling, and Yoshi have base art now, and Duck Hunt finally has his Smash art on the rest of his cards. As I'm compiling all the cards and tokens into one big file, I've been looking over a few cards to make sure everything is fine. Here I'll be writing out a few things that I think could be updated:
Overall: - Reference cards: Acronyms or not? Need to standardize all reference cards, also. I'm leaning towards not because of space. Done - Some other inconsistencies I've noticed include whether "markers/counters/tokens" are capitalized or not, along with writing out numbers vs keeping them as numbers, along with bolding or not bolding every instance Soak or Stun Guard (ex. Ignore SOAK or just Ignore Soak). I'll probably not capitalize. Numbers are tough. It looks cleaner written out but is easier to read as a number... I guess I'll go number here. And I'll go not bold I think. On it
Bowser: Done - Does Spike really need Stun Guard? Yeah I think this is actually fine. - Giga Bowser: UA should be written out as Unique Ability.
Rosalina: Done
- Recall. Specify EoB in that Luma is placed back on the board with full life.
- Cosmic Knockout. OH clarify that you only repeat the attack once. Also changed it from OH to AA because the reference card said AA instead of OH, and it sounds thematically better this way.
Link: Done this is taking longer than I thought - Bow: Nothing wrong text-wise, but the effect text should be centered a bit more.
Mario: Done - Power Up: "... and GAIN +3 Power each." Missing that word there.
Captain Falcon: Done - UA Adrenaline Rush: Lose the apostrophe in "it's," dude you know better
Shiek: Done -
Pikachu: Done - Thunderous: I think the text should be bold like it is on Link and Mario.
Little Mac: - Less a critique and more of an observation... I wonder if I made his weaknesses too glaring. Like 2 extra damage on Bruising? Maybe put a "also add an additional Counter" in the effects? Yeah I did that. Duck Hunt: -

Maybe is now! Here's patch v1.8 which is mainly a big grammar patch. There are only two instances where I changed effects though: Rosalina's Cosmic Knockout was changed to an After Activating, and Little Mac's Bruising gives him an extra Comeback counter... Sigh, so I keep finding other things I've missed. For example, Shiek's UA needs to clarify that she gets her Chain counter at the end of the beat. Maybe hold off on getting that v1.8 patch. There's so many cards that have been updated that it'll be easier to just reprint everything (which is actually what I did pretty recently). I'll post an ALL CARDS v1.9 .pdf soon, after I go over everything again. Then I'll try to get some playtesting done and do some tweaking for v2.0.

As I'm editing this, I feel like Pikachu's finishers need updating. The effects just don't sound right to me. Thunder Wave should stun, and maybe could have that upgrade that Volt Tackle does. Meanwhile, Volt Tackle doesn't need that stun clause and it could be a bit more powerful to make it more of a finisher finisher...
